Paul E. Rowland

Paul E. Rowland, 73, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010, at his farm in Palmer Township, Washington County, doing what he loved.

He was born on December 27, 1936, in Stockport, Ohio, a son of Delbert and Mabel Pugh Rowland.  Paul was employed at Alcoa retiring in 1998.  He was a member of UAW Local 1050, and graduated from Stockport High School, Class of 1954.

Paul is survived by his wife, Rita Kathleen Miller Rowland and their 3 daughters:  Kristie (David) Brandow of Medina, Lisa (Bob) Zigmund of Dublin, and Debbie Rowland and her friend Chris Rogers of Merrimack, NH; 4 grandsons:  Jeff, Mike and Dan Brandow and Tom Zigmund, and one granddaughter Haylee Zigmund.  He is also survived by his brother Wayne (Shirley) Rowland, sister Alice (Bert) Sands, sister-in-law Faye Bachelor and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lee Rowland.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday (May 11th) at 11:00 am at Dale Cemetery followed by a Picnic at the family farm.  Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00. Memorial contributions are requested in Paul’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
