Pauline “Polly” Luvada Martin Seyler

Pauline "Polly" Luvada Martin Seyler, born Aug. 21, 1928, went home to her Lord on Dec. 10, 2011.

She is survived by her daughters: Connie Lynn Davis (Roger), Beth Ann McClead (John); son-in-law, Thomas Lee Hedrick; and sister, Grace Martin. Polly will also be mourned by her grandchildren: Carrie Jane Lucas (Jason), Erin Michelle Davis, Tara Krung Hedrick, Sara Rath Hedrick, Shawn Seyler McClead, and Katie Ann McClead. She was also quite proud of her great-granddaughter, Addison Grier Lucas and the baby that is on the way. Polly is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Walter Albert Seyler; her parents, Arthur and Mildred (Stark) Martin; one daughter, Susan Louis Hedrick; and her brothers, Floyd and Glen Martin.

Polly enjoyed visiting with many neighbors and friends and playing with her dog, Molly. She also loved volunteering at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Polly was a member of the Church of Christ. She was loved and will be missed dearly.

A memorial will be held at her home Jan. 15, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be donated to the Marietta Memorial Hospital volunteer program. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family.
