Penny M. Whealdon

Penny M. Whealdon, 41, of Lowell passed away at her home 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. She was born September 24, 1974 in Marietta to John Newlon of Lowell and the late Sue A Lang Newlon.

She was a 1992 graduate of Marietta High School and had graduated from Washington State Community in 2009. Penny had been employed as a RN at Marietta Hospitals.

On February 8, 1995 she married Darren Whealdon who survives with children Keith Whealdon of the home, Tessi Davis of Lowell and Nikki Whealdon of the home. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jaiden and Xavier Oakley and Bryce and Sophia Davis, a brother Gene Newlon and a sister Melissa Treadway.

Funeral services will be held 4 pm Saturday, December 5th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, friends may call from 2pm until the hour of service on Saturday. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
