Phyllis Jean McCormick Jones

Phyllis Jean McCormick Jones, 66, of Marietta passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012. She was adopted at the age of 15 months by Glenna and Lawrence McCormick. In 1970, she married Earl L. Jones who was a good father and husband. He preceded her in death.

Phyllis Jean McCormick JonesPhyllis graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1964 and later earned 2 Associate Degrees at Washington State Community College in Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics. She attended Center Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Raymond E. Jones and Samuel W. Jones and his wife Rhonda, four grandsons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday (March 4) at Center Valley Baptist Church on Rt. 7 above Newport with a luncheon to follow at the church. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family.
