Reba H. Covell McKee
Reba H. Covell McKee, 79, of Marietta passed away at 2:30am, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Marietta Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born February 11, 1936, in Danville, Ohio, to Carl and Nellie Taylor Hose.
Reba was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1954. She had been employed as a legal secretary for 40 years for various attorneys, including Hayward Strecker, William Fields and Paul Bertram. She was a charter member of Faith Bible Church and a member of OCCL Chi Patron League.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Shelli) Covell; 2 grandsons Bryan (Stacy) Roe and Tyler Roe; 3 great grandchildren: Declan, Hazel and Gray Roe; her sister Ruth Blauser of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers and 2 sisters: Dale, Donald, Duane and Daniel Hose, Creta Hose and Florence Near.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Aug. 14) at 3:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
