Richard Earl Thompson, 49, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012.

He was born in Marietta on May 9, 1963, a son of the late Junior M. Thompson and Ruth McKnight of Marietta.

He is survived by 2 sons, Timothy Allan Thompson and Jeremy Scott Thompson both of Marietta, 5 grandchildren and 5 sisters.
