Robert “Bob” Lee

Portrait of Robert “Bob” Lee

Robert “Bob” Lee, 67, of Marietta, OH, passed away on August 31, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1957, in Morgantown, WV son to Marvin Lee of Marietta, OH and Judy Littleton of Lowell, OH.

Bob was a retired plant operator at Colgate-Palmolive and a talented motorcycle mechanic. His passion for the wind of the open road and scenery of nature could only be eclipsed by his love and care for those he let into his heart. A strong and passionate man, Bob was best known to those closest to him for being a loving father, caring and reliable friend, storyteller, and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a bear to face in a chess match and knew every song that came on the radio, concisely recalling the lyrics to make a point or applying them comically to a situation.

Bob is survived by his beloved son, Daniel Lee, daughter-in-law Kelsey Lee, step-children Matthew Metz and Jasmine Weber, sister Jeanne Schauwecker, nieces Heather, Lyndsay, Myranda and Dani.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by brother John Lee.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date to honor his memory. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. McClure-Schafer-Lankford is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.

Rest in peace, Bob Lee. Your compassion for loved ones and warm spirit will be carried in the minds, memories and hearts of the many whose lives you’ve touched. May the freedom the road and two wheels provided you no longer be constrained to them.
