Robert “Bob” Lewis Binegar

Robert “Bob” Lewis Binegar of Marietta passed away at 11:03 am on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.

He was born on October 10, 1961, in Marietta, a son of Delbert L. and Julia D. Lightfritz Binegar.  Bob was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1980, and was employed at Kroger in customer service.  He also had worked for Giant Eagle and Wasco Workshop. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in North Carolina and enjoyed gardening, singing, and making people feel special.

Bob is survived by his life time partner Cheryl June Ollom, daughters, Julia and Lexi of the home, brothers, Chester (Debbie) Binegar, Edward (Angie) Binegar all of Marietta, sisters, Sandra (Tom) Smith of Whiteman, WV, and Angie (Rick) Ward of Marietta, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Elmer and Marjorie Lane Binegar and Brady and Mary Lightfritz, brother Wayne Binegar and sister Teresa McMahan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (May 18th) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Thibault officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday after 3:00 with family present from 3-5 and 7-9.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be given to the children and sent to them in care of McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, 314 Fourth Street, Marietta.
