Robert James Goddard

Robert James Goddard, 55, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013, following an automobile accident. He was born on December 26, 1957, in Marietta a son of Alfred and Janet Cozzen Goddard. He was employed as a paper carrier at The Marietta Times.

Bob is survived by his 2 sons, Robert Goddard and his fiancé Ashley McClead and Brady Goddard and his friend Lacey Ward and grandson Colton McClead.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

At his request, he was cremated. The family would appreciate donations to McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home to apply toward Bob’s funeral expenses. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
