Robert Lee Barth

Robert Lee Barth age 85, of Marietta, OH passed away April 28, 2026, at Waterview Pointe.

He was born December 6, 1940, a son of the Late Barnum and Hilda Barth. Bob worked at Kaneff Nursery after graduation from Marietta High School in 1960. He later began a career and retired from American Cyanamid-Marietta. He was also a water hauler with his brother, Paul, before becoming owner and operator of Robert L. Barth Excavating & Trucking.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, brothers, Gene Barth and Leroy Barth, and sister-in-law, Margaret Barth.

Bob is survived by his brother, Paul Barth, sister, Joan Barth, sister-in-law Sandra Barth, nieces: Colleen Tennant, Christy Hockenberry, Catherine Wolfe, and nephews: Chad Barth, Craig Barth, Curt Barth, Brian Barth, Michael Barth, and their families and friend Loretta Gessett.

The family would like to thank the wonderfully caring staff at Waterview Pointe, O’Neill Center, and Cawley Hospice.

Friends may call Friday, (May 1st) from 12:00 noon until 1:30 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with graveside service following immediately at 2:00 at Putnam Cemetery in Devola. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
