Roger Lee Allberry

Roger Lee Allberry, 57, of Watertown, passed away at 8:00 am on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at his home.

He was born in Marietta on October 4, 1951, a son of Irville Ray and Edna Marie White Allberry.  Roger graduated from Marietta High School with the class of 1971.  He was employed as a professional truck driver, was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam, enjoyed ham radio (W8RLA), collecting guns and watching John Wayne movies.

On June 24, 1973, he married Sharon Sims who survives with 4 sons:  Scott Allberry and his wife Tatum of Cairo, WV, Joe Allberry and his wife Kristie of Barlow, Jason Allberry and his wife Beci of Cambridge, Bryan Allberry and his wife Sheila of Zanesville, grandchildren:  Amanda, Katie, Seth, Kayla, Tyara, Justin, Jordan, Dawson, Liberti, Justice, Chad, Tyler, Alex, Raven, Shiloh, Shamen and Tiffany.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (April 22) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 on Tuesday afternoon.  On line condolences may be shared at:  www.mslfuneralhome.com.
