Ronald Eugene Rogers

Ronald Eugene Rogers, 78, of Whipple passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012, at 5:35 pm at Marietta Center. He was born in Pleasants County, WV, a son of the late Samuel Robert Rogers and Mary Aileen Newland Rogers. He worked for 31 years with IBEW Local 972. He was a member of Lower Paw Paw Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June Marie Boyce Rogers and 1 son and 1 daughter: Garry E. (Karen) Rogers and Jeannie M. (Larry) McAlarney both of Whipple; 3 grandchildren: Erin (Jeremy) Harper, Kerry Rogers, Garry Rogers II all of Whipple, 2 canine grandchildren, Copper and Tiny, and his dog, Sugar. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Rogers and sister, Wilda Livingston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jerry W. Rogers, brothers: Donald Rogers and George Rogers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (September 14) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park.
