Ronald R. Gant

Ronald R. Gant, 68, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at South Eastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 16, 1944, at East Union, Ohio, to Marcus and Joan Dettra Gant. He was a graduate of Summerfield High School in 1962, and worked for the Sate of Ohio Taxation Department. He was a florist and an antique dealer. Ron Served in the Ohio National Guard and was a member of the Center Free Methodist Church at Sarahsville.

Ron is survived by 2 brothers: Steve (Mary) Gant of Caldwell and Darrell (Judy) Gant of Cumberland; 2 nieces: Debra Johnson and Dianna Cox and a legion of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Dec. 27) at 2:00 pm at the Center Free Methodist Church at Sarahsville with Pastor Nate Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10 until 2.
