Roy E. Beaver, Sr
Roy E. Beaver, Sr., 56, of Marietta passed away October 29, 2012 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg on April 21, 1956 to Bryan and Anna Marie (Stewart) Beaver. Roy was a boiler technician and worked in many of the buildings in downtown Marietta. He enjoyed watching baseball and was a NY Yankee’s fan. Roy loved working on cars and helping others.
On October 17, 1998 he married Michele who survives with his children: Anna Kemenah (Brian) of Charleston, Bryan (Paula) Beaver, Betty Sue Lowther (Kevin) Shawn Reese (Ruby), Amy Reese, Austin Ide (Michaella), Roy Beaver, Jr., CheyAnna Beaver and Isaiah Beaver all of Marietta. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a brother Jeff Beaver (Kathy) of Marietta.
In addition to his parents a sister Kay Stewart preceded Roy in death.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, November 3rd at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Parr Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will begin at 6 pm Thursday with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 on Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com.
