Russell “Dean” Brooks, Sr.
Russell “Dean” Brooks, Sr., 47 of Beverly, passed away May 31, 2016, at his home. He was born June 26, 1968, to the late Sadie Wriston and Walter Brooks.
Dean loved fast cars and “always lived in the fast lane.” He loved listening to music, being outdoors, racing cars and camping. He also enjoyed working on cars and was a great mechanic. Dean loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally and spending quality time with his family and friends was the highlight of his days.
He is survived by his two sons, Russell Dean (Fantasy Green) Brooks, Jr. of Marietta and William (Amy Smithberger) Carter of Lowell, and three daughters, Noel (Justin) Holley of Pomeroy, Natalie Brooks of Vincent, Chevelle Brooks of Watertown, ten grandchildren; 3 sisters: Marie (Gary Riel) Dawson of Watertown, Carolyn (Randy) Valentine of Marietta, Christine Vance of Parkersburg; 3 brothers: Clarence Wriston and Jimmy (Linda) Brooks both of Watertown and Rex (Lisa) Brooks of Marietta and his girlfriend Zoe Haynes and very special best friend Butch Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathy Kidder and nephews, Carleton Sparks and Justin Brooks. So now he is flying fast with the best of them.
