Russell F. Miller

Russell F. Miller, 68, of Marietta passed away at his home on Friday (August 19, 2011) at 7:05pm.

He was born on February 7, 1943, in New Haven, WV, a son of Homer and Josephine McDaniel Miller.  He had been employed by Morrison, Inc. as a heating and air conditioning technician.  He was a veteran of U.S. Air Force serving during Viet Nam.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

On November 5, 1965, he married Sharon Wilson who survives with 1 son and 1 daughter:  Jean Ann (Thomas) Hartman, Jr. of Cutler and Robert F. (Marnie) Miller of Marietta; 4 grandchildren:  Ryan Neville, Nichole Neville, Emily Hartman, Kristy Miller; brothers and sisters:  Gary (Sue) Miller, Janice Bradley, Lynn (Wilson) Carr, Jeanine (Lance) Powers, Jeanette (Charles) Radford and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joann Miller, 2 brothers-in-law, Joe Bradley and Richard Larch.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Aug. 24) at 1:00pm at Porterfield Baptist Church, 39 Hollywood Drive, Little Hocking, OH, with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating.  Burial will follow in Tunnel Cemetery.  Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8
