Ruth E. Hendershot
Ruth E. Hendershot, 83, of Marietta passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at OSU Medical Center.
She was born January 11, 1932 in Marietta to Pearl D. and Genevieve (Glock) Willison. Ruth had been employed as a receptionist for Dr. Stickrath, Jr.
On November 18, 1950, she married George E. Hendershot who preceded her in death.
Ruth is survived by daughters, Sheri Hendershot and Pamela Britton (Randy) both of Marietta. Also surviving are grandchildren: Ryan Britton, Justin Britton and LeaAnn Lee, 11 great grandchildren, and sisters Betty Dooley and Jennie Leasure.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister Marjorie Ward.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Friday, May 22nd at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Wendy Erb officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
