Ruth V. Poling
Ruth Virginia Poling, age 87, of Marietta, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2011. Her time of passing was 7:55 pm.
Ruth was born on September 21, 1923, in Archers Fork, Ohio, the daughter of John and Nancy Anna Hanlon Ruble. She was employed 35 years at Water Filtration Company prior to retirement and was a member of the congregation at Open Door Baptist Church.
Ruth was preceded her in death by her husband of 25 years, Woodford Dale Poling.
She is survived by her sister, Irma J. Wittekind of Marietta and three generations of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call upon McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday (June 13) between 2-4 & 6-8. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:00 am.
