Sadie Rebecca Blondeaux
Sadie Rebecca Blondeaux, 64, of Williamstown, WV died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday (May 21, 2016) at her home.
Sadie was born on May 11, 1952 in Ironton, Ohio to Willie and Edith Joseph, and was the granddaughter of Mala and Sephus Collins and Clay and Haleigh Joseph.
Sadie Blondeaux was a small feisty lady whose laughter, teasing, and good heart will be missed by many. She earned her high school diploma from Marietta High School and was a US Army Veteran. She was a hard working woman who spent her time taking care of others. She worked as a housekeeper at Knight’s Inn, HealthSouth, and other medical facilities. She enjoyed cooking for her family, gambling, bird watching, and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Carter Joseph, Craig Joseph, Bud Joseph, and her sisters Peg Fish and Garnet Grady. She is survived by her loving family – husband Robin Blondeaux; her sisters Betty Naab (husband Joe Naab, daughter Heather Bules) and Mary Wells of Williamstown, WV, as well as her brother Jon Joseph of Parkersburg, WV. She also is survived by her daughters Rebecca Remsburg of Union Bridge, MD and Heather Bules (biological child) of Williamstown, WV and 2 grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins.
As was her wishes, Sadie has been cremated and no services will be held. She asked to be buried with her mother, Edith Joseph; however, the family needs help to meet Sadie’s final wishes.
