Scott E. Murray
Scott E. Murray, 79, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away at 8:11 am, Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born September 15, 1945 in Franklin County, Ohio, a son of Clyde Eugene Murray and Florence Icel Lowe Murray. Scott was as a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He was a mechanic by trade. Scott was a member of VFW Post 5108.
On November 29, 1969, he married Gladys Dye who survives with their son Thomas Eugene (Kelley Divito) Murray of Marietta; grandchildren: Davon Murray, Levi Murray and Aliygh Murray and 2 great grandchildren Ezyln and Becket Weddle. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Lori of Caldwell.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Tammy Lynn Murray.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 am on Wednesday (June 11) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home followed by cremation. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
