Suanne Lynne Holland, 69, of Ocala, FL. Originally from Marietta, OH went to be with our Heavenly Father April 5,2023 at the University of Florida Shands hospital after a lengthy bout with terminal illness.
Sue was born November 8, 1953 to the late Earl Clifford and Nellie Noreen Blair Styer, in addition to her parents Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Garry Styer.
A retired Nurse of 35 years in Marietta, OH, Ocala, FL, and Athens, TN, she loved devoting her life to serving others. She was a member of the Bethel and Devola VFD, and served as a medic at several of the local Ohio Valley racetracks.
She loved to watch racing and go to the local tracks both in Ohio and Florida and was also an avid camper, going on adventures all over the southern USA with her husband John. Some of her favorite camping spots were in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN, where she spent several vacations with her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Surviving Sue is her faithful husband John Holland of Ocala FL, three sons Shaun (Kim) Morrison of Hilliard, OH, Craig Morrison of Belle Valley, OH, and Brian (Kim) Morrison of Davidson, NC. Four siblings Diane (Ric) Glenn of Sequatchie, TN, Larry Styer of Aberdeen, MD, Charlotte Banks of Louisville, KY, Terry (Daphne) Styer of Marietta, OH, and sister-in-law Cindy Styer of Marietta, OH. Four grandchildren Emily, BreeAnna, Shaun Jr, and Marcy, one great-grandchild Hensley as well as two grand dogs Brady and Archie. Sue also was a loving mom of four step-children John (Darla) Holland Jr of Mammoth, AR, Theresa (Kim) Courtney of Lima, OH, Bobby Holland of Ocala, FL, and Betsy Beagle of New Matamoras, OH. Eleven step-grandchildren Missy, Gary, Jessica, Krista, Bobby, Josh, Aaron, Mike, Jeffery, Homer, Tyrone and twelve step-great grandchildren along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home at 314 Fourth St., Marietta, OH 45750 Saturday, April 15th from 9-11am with a service to immediately follow.
