Sylvia A. White

Sylvia A. White, 83, of Marietta, passed away at 11:30 pm on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Harmar Place. She was born on April 2, 1928, in Newport, a daughter of Arville and Mary Rowland Bush.

Sylvia is survived by her son, Rodney (Donna) White; 4 grandchildren: Joe, Alicia, Cole and Reed White; 2 brothers, Gale (Pat) Bush of Newport and Ronald (Mary Ann) Bush of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters: Irene Cassady, Mary Hartshorn, Welma Haynes, Merle Bush, Willard Bush, Arville Bush, Jr., Clair Bush.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Newport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 6 pm with family present from 6-8
