Teresa Ann Dilworth
Teresa Ann Dilworth, formerly Teresa Ann Turley, left to be with the Lord on September 28th, 2015. Teresa was born to Mother – Gloria (Ferguson) Cole and Father Lawrence Owen Turley on May 15th, 1960.
Surviving Teresa are the following – Mother-Gloria Cole of Proctorville Ohio, Husband-David. B. Dilworth of Barlow Ohio, Daughter-Teria and her Husband Mark Strahler of Barlow Ohio, Grandsons-Tyler and Levi Strahler of Barlow Ohio, Sister- Sarah Randolph and Husband Collin of Gallipolis, Sister-Diedra Miller of Pennsylvania, Brother-Russell and Wife, Zella Turley of Akron Ohio, Brother- Darrell and Wife Colleen Turley of Proctorville Ohio, Brother-Anthony and Wife Tammy of Tuttle of Kentucky, Uncle and Aunt from Texas, many nieces and nephews, great nieces, cousins, many church family and four legged fur friends, Coco and Midnight.
Teresa was a faithful member of Fairview Heights Chapel, Harmar Hill, Marietta Ohio. She felt called into the ministry of reaching out and helping others. She was an active prayer warrior and worshiper in the music ministry. She had a love for, and felt led by the Lord to begin ministering to teens.
Teresa was a member of two Red Hatter Chapters, first Marietta Angels Rejoice and second and most recent, Marietta Red Hat Angels.
She was a very caring and spiritual lady who would put others before herself. She had a beautiful outreach that consisted of calling upon the sick, praying for others and also her card ministry of sending out cards to help lift up and encourage those in need.
Teresa played an active role in helping to organize events and functions within the church ministry which included nursing home ministry and women's conferences.
As Teresa walks this peaceful journey with the Lord we extend this invitation to all who wish to attend to pay their respects.
Viewing is on Thursday October 1st at McClure Schafer 314 4th Street Marietta Ohio from 10am to 11am. A service and burial will take place at Bartlett Cemetery, Cutler Ohio by Pastors Rick & Sherry Ritchie.
In lieu of flowers please donate to help family with cost of funeral arrangements. All donations would be greatly appreciated and can be sent to or given to daughter and son-in law, Mark and Teria Strahler of 415 McDonald Rd Waterford Ohio 45786.
Wesley Fire Department will be hosting a gathering and dinner for family and friends after the service. For those who wish to attend please bring with either a main dish, dessert , plate of finger foods or drinks to add to table.
