Thomas Michael “Mike” Grahame, 55, of Newport, passed away Saturday April 4th, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 17th, 1964 to the late Henry Thomas “Tom” Grahame and Janet Benson Grahame.

He graduated from Frontier/WCCC in 1983, worked at the family business Tom’s Auto Wrecking until 2013 and then was employed at Hi-Vac as a service mechanic until he was diagnosed with Leukemia on May 3rd, 2019.

He is survived by his mother Janet Grahame, sisters Debbie (Gary) Seevers and Rose Grahame. Son Justin Grahame and granddaughter Adalyn Grahame of Barlow. Nieces, Patty (Chris) Carpenter, Jonie (Dean) Haught, Jessica Christian (Cody Stover), Great nephews, Dylan and Brady Carpenter and Jaxon Haught all of Newport. Life long friends, Kevin Schneider and Troy Barth. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mike had a special place in his heart for his buddies Colton Taylor, Perry and Shawn Wheeler. He is preceded in death by his father, Tom Grahame.

He enjoyed working on cars, detailing and selling them. He loved to rebuild Suzuki
Samurai’s. He was a diehard Ohio State football and Dallas Cowboy’s fan.
He liked to go to yard sales and Rinky Dinks. He would buy anything for a dollar.
He will be remembered for always having a good time with an ice cold Bud Light in his hand. But most of all he was a son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and Kid Rock’s number 1 fan.

The family would like to thank everyone who has helped him along the way. Special thanks to Reno Raceway and The Spinning Wheel, Coworkers from Hi-Vac, Family and Friends for helping out with his benefits.

Private services will be observed due to corona virus health regulations. He will be buried at Barker Cemetery in Newport, OH.

Any memorial contributions can be donated to the Reno Volunteer fire department.
