Timothy A. Kitts

Timothy A. Kitts, 60, of Reno, went to be with Jesus at 10:40 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born on December 31, 1948, in Marietta, a son of Arthur and Mildred Forshey Kitts.  He was retired from Thermo Fisher and was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church, Eagles Aerie 458 and Moose Lodge 1822. He will be sadly missed by the Farnsworth family.

On November 3, 1984, he married Maudie Farnsworth who survives with 1 stepson and 1 stepdaughter:  Michael (Robyn) Stevens of Marietta and Robin (Harvey) Travis of Columbus, 2 step grandchildren:  Ashley Stevens and Haley Travis, sister Peggy (Alan) Wallens, 1 half brother and 3 half sisters:  Danny Kitts, Debbie Stephenson, Darlene (Bill) Taschwer, Betty Felock.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Stacy, Bill and Kellie Wallens and best friend William (Cheryl) Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and half brother, Phillip “Jim” Alden.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20th at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Kapple officiating.  Burial will be in Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 pm on Monday with family present to greet friends and family from 2-4 and 6-8.
