Treva Lott Mossack

Treva Lott Mossack, 85 of Devola, went to heaven to join her parents, son Brad and grandson Joshua on June 23, 2024. Treva was born on September 19, 1939 to Frank & Fay (Craven) Lott and was raised in Lowell, Ohio. She married Don Mossack on April 25, 1958 at the Lowell Christian Church. They were blessed with two children. Surviving is daughter Cathy Mossack Beaver who brought her husband Jeff to Treva as her ‘favorite’ son in law, sister Betty Lott Forshey (Paul) , her grandson Chad Beaver (Jennifer) her granddaughters Jansen Tebay (Casey), Jessica Fitzgerald (Matthew), her great-grandson Isaac Beaver & his mother Maureen & great-granddaughter Valleigh Tebay, and great-granddaughters Kailin Mahaney, and Laila and Ariann Ankrom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Virgil L. Lott, and her son Brad preceded her on June 6, 1998.

Treva was an alumnus from Lowell High School, graduating with the class of 1957. Treva was on the committee that hosted the alumni class reunions for many years. She started her working career in Beverly as an employee of David C. Myers, DDS as a dental assistant. After moving to the Marietta area she worked as a secretary at the Washington County Farm Bureau’s Nationwide Insurance.

Treva was an avid crafter with dried flower arrangements being her talent. She was a member of the Marietta Area Art’s & Craft League. For years she took her dried arrangements to many of the local craft shows, and as far away as the Zanesville & Columbus area. She enjoyed activities at the O’Neil Senior Citizen’s & with the Lowell Senior Citizen group.

Treva loved to travel. She and Don traveled to many interesting places. Among her favorites were trips to Alaska, Hawaii, New Orleans, & the many winter months they spent at Panama City Beach- Florida. When the grandchildren were younger they were taken on many road trips; letting them pick their destinations as to where they would go.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Friday June, 28th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, with Pastor David Beaver officiating. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park after services.
