Violet L. Hall

Violet Laverne Hall, 70, of Caldwell, passed away 12:37 am, Friday, May 28, 2010 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 13, 1940 in Barlow to Clarence “Toad” Kuhn and Iola “Debbie” Johnson Kuhn.  Violet had been employed at the Caldwell Senior Citizen’s Center.  Violet always enjoyed collecting angels and helping others. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her loving friend Harry Hall with children Harry “George” Hall, Jr. (Linda) of Wingett Run, Merle “Oat” Hall (Sue) of Marietta, Larry Hall (April) Sarahville, OH, Laura Hall (Garnett Hill) of Ocala, FL, and Linda Starr (Sam) of Jefferson, OH.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Brothers Earl “Hank” Kuhn (Betty) of Marr, and Arlen Kuhn (Linda) of Barnesville and sisters Helen Mellott (Skip) of Bethesda and Connie Ruckman (Gene Rowe) of West Union, WV also survive.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Lonnie “Pud” Kuhn and sisters Rosemary Kuhn and Marjorie Hall.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Tuesday June 1st at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gale Lauderman officiating.  Burial will follow in Creighton Ridge Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 pm Sunday until the hour of service; family will greet friends from 4 to 8 on Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Monday.
