Virginia Bettinger

Virginia I. Bettinger, 64, passed away at her home on Virginia Street at 9:30 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2009.

She was born on November 5, 1944, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to Thomas Joseph and Martha Whiting Morris. She was a member of The Church of the Nazarene and a homemaker.

Virginia is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters: Stanley (Theresa) Bettinger, Elmer Bettinger, Allen E. Bettinger, Jannie (Greg) Dearth, and Martha (Melvin) Oliver all of Marietta, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Headley officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00pm on Thursday.
