Warren C. Brookover

Warren C. Brookover, 96, of Marietta passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Waterview Pointe. He was born February 5, 1929, in Williamstown, WV, a son of Luther Brookover and Lola Lauderman Brookover.

Warren retired from Airolite. He like woodworking and love to build and tinker with things and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his wife loved to go to the mountains in the fall.

On February 16, 1947, he married Faye Rosetta McCain Brookover who preceded him in death on July 11, 2017. He is survived by daughters, Sandy Bee, Cindy Cline, Kim (Robby) Clark and a “son” Gene (Cheryl) McCain; grandchildren: Eric (Melissa) Bee, Todd (Maryann) Bee, Troy (Lauren) Bee, Joshua (Marelle) Shaner, Aaron (Sherri) Clark, Sarah (Mack) Mcleish, Leanna (Chase) Lowe, and Mike McCain, Jeff McCain and Warren McCain; 17 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife and parents, siblings: Tom Brookover, Garland Brookover, Ellen Frazer, Jim Brookover, sons-in-law Rod Bee and Tom Cline and grandson Doug McCain.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday (Oct. 24) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends at the funeral home before from 10:00 until 2:00 pm. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
