Wilda M. Eddy

Wilda M. Eddy, 80, of Marietta passed away at 5:00 pm, Friday, September 6, 2024, at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. She was born January 13, 1944, in Greenbrier, WV, a daughter of Hubert Brooks and Ida Hendricks Brooks. She was retired from K–Mart.

Wilda married Ronald L. Eddy, who preceded her in death on February 18, 2021. Surviving are 2 sons and 5 daughters: Ronald Allen Eddy of New Matamoras, Janice Estep of Mineral Wells, TX, Sharon Fay (Greg) Taylor of St. Marys, WV, Karen (Donnie) Booth of New Matamoras, Jodie (Robert) Barnes of Millsap, TX, Jeryl (Tom) Bowie of Reedsville, OH, Brian (Linda) Edds of Marietta. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her sister and brother and her dog Sugar.

Wilda is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 11) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
