William J. “Bill” Cassady

William J. “Bill” Cassady, 67, of Marietta passed away at 2:12 pm, Sunday, January 14, 2024, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. He was born January 14, 1957, in Marietta a son of the late William and Maxine McCloud Cassady.

Bill was employed as a Rental Car Manager at Bob Bingler Ford. He coached youth sports, and was part of the recovering community and attended many AA meetings until his health failed. He enjoyed Ohio State Football, playing Bingo and spending time with his family and his friends at The Arbors.

Bill is survived by his son Aaron (Heather) Cassady of New Albany, OH and daughter Carla (Alan) Archer of Marietta; grandchildren: Clara and Chloe Cassady and Alex and Noah Archer and his two brothers, Chris (Vonda) Cassady and Larry (Paula) Cassady both of Marietta.

The family wishes to express their thanks for the care Bill received at Ohio State University Hospital and the Palliative Care Team at Marietta Memorial and to his care giver Renee O’Dell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan 19) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
