Wilma A. Bradford
Wilma A. Bradford, 72, of Reno, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at 4:52 am at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She was born on April 16, 1940, at Layman, Ohio, a daughter of Thelma I. Clark of Marietta and the late Clyde William Scott. Wilma was employed at Vadakin Enterprises, attended Reno Christian Church, donated many hours to the Reno Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed playing bingo and Karaoke. She especially enjoyed her granddaughter, Jonysa.
On June 18, 1960, she married Don Bradford who survives with their son, Jonny Bradford and friend Amy Hill Taylor and their daughter, Jackie Bradford and friend Steve Hupp; granddaughter Jonysa Bradford; 6 sisters: Terry (Larry) Dailey of Marietta, Sue (Art) Faught of Vinton County, OH, Sharon (Doug) Miller of Marietta, Gloria (Jerry) Lewis of Williamstown, Maxine (Ken) Neville of Marietta, Lois (Frank) Mahoney of Leo, IN, several nieces and nephews, and her dog “Spot.”
She was preceded in death by her father and brother Carroll Scott.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Jan. 7) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hughes officiating, followed by interment in East Lawn Memorial Park.
