Wilma I. Miller

Wilma I. Miller, 90, of Reno passed away at 2:00 am, Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at her home. She was born October 24, 1928, in Newport a daughter of Charles and Esther Carver Hendricks.

Wilma was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making stuffed animals and clothing and was known for her homemade pies. She enjoyed spending time with family.

On September 25, 1948, she married Robert Miller who preceded her in death January 30, 2008. She is survived by 2 daughters and 3 sons: Janet (John) Morris, Paul (Sheela) Miller, Garry Miller, John Miller (Carla) and Christine (Bill) Grosklos all of Reno. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Janel (Jon) Pollard, Jeffrey Morris, Beth (Tim) Owens, Shannon (Shawn) Strickler, Adam (Megan) Miller, Robert (Alicia) Miller, Ashley (Alan) Atkinson, Cassidy (Dewey) Miller, Lindsay (Pace) McIntire, Samantha (Matt) Palmer, Alex Grosklos, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, her sister Rachel Hendricks and special sister-in-law Rose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 grandchildren, Sabrina Miller and Benjamin Miller and 3 brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Jan. 17) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Valley Cemetery.
