Wilma Joan Plaugher Christopher
Wilma Joan Plaugher Christopher, 73, of Belpre passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014, at her home. She was born on April 29, 1940, in Marietta to Mark and Hazel Plaugher. Wilma was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She loved going to the Station Carry Out for Karaoke with friends and family, as well as enjoying her flowers.
Wilma is survived by her 4 children: David Allen (Diane) Christopher of Arkansas. Larrey (Amy) Christopher of Marietta, Timothy (Trista) Christopher of Belpre, Denise Christopher; 14 grandchildren: Jamie, Davie, Kayla, Paula, Leanna, Brian, Erica, Maria, Dylan, Latosha, Joshua, Rilee, Brandon, Allison; 7 great grandchildren: Taya, Haylee, Abby, McKayla, Adessa, Raygan, Leland. She is also survived by her sister Brenda Plaugher Palmer and brothers: Gale, Rodney, Robert, Frank and Tony Plaugher
She was preceded in death by her husband Leland A. Christopher, parents, brother Gilbert Plaugher and sisters, Betty Hart Plaugher and Romana Gail Plaugher.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Feb. 3) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Saltzwedel officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
