Wilma Noland

Wilma Noland, 71, of Stockport, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at The Arbors of Marietta.

She was born on March 2, 1938, in Marietta a daughter of Howard and Gladys Matheny McKnight.  Wilma was a graduate of Marietta High School and was employed by Kresge’s Store for 18 years.

In 1972, she married Clayton Noland who survived with stepsons, Rick (Vivian) Noland and Scott (Sherry) Noland both of Stockport and son, Mike (Pat Schoeppner) Noland of Reno; grandchildren:  Stephanie (Mike) Sidenstricker, Carrie Hannan, Jessie (Shaunte) Noland, Marilyn (Bill) Callahan, David Noland, Kayla Cleveland; great grandchildren:  Lana, Lexie, and Lynsie Sidenstricker, Ayanna and Maxwell Noland, Dawson and Wyatt Hannan, Madysen, Clayton and Chloe Callahan. She is also survived by 2 sisters:  Joann Murray of Marietta and Katie (Dave) Wishart of Lakeland, FL, and brother Ralph (Lois) McKnight of Reno and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Helen Covey, Juanita Bower and Doris Duffy.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (August 14) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Earl James officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 on Thursday with family present from 2-4 and 6-8.  On line condolences may be shared with the family at:  mslfuneralhome.com.
