Wilna Berdine Tidd
Wilna Bernadine Tidd, 85, of Reno passed away Friday, January 8, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 7, 1930, to Denzil and Daisy Morey Hecker.
Bernadine graduated from Waterford High School in 1952. She worked at Crystal Dairy and Johnston Restaurant for several years. On February 18, 1961, she married Joseph Allen “Al” Tidd.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years and her children: Marlene (Virgil) Offenberger of Whipple, Jim (Patty) Tidd of Reno, Joyce (Steve) Howard of Whipple, Wade (Alisha) Tidd of Marietta, Wayne (Missy) Tidd of Marietta, Rex Tidd of Spencer, OH, Deb (Bob) Updyke of Pennsylvania, 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and her care givers Sabrina and Ruth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Ann and daughter-in-law Sheila.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Mayor Joe Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
