    Junior Ray “Jake” Tidd, 54, of Marietta passed away at 2:29 am, Monday, April 20, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born December 24, 1971, in Marietta a son of the late Ronald G. Tidd and Irene Leasure Tidd of Newport.
    Jake was part owner of Integrity Paving and Sealing Company.

    She was born on August 13, 1948 in Marietta a daughter of Johnny Grose and Rose Anna Stewart Grose. She had been employed by The Marietta Times as a route driver.

    She was born in Marietta on October 6, 1933 to Woodrow and Francis Merrow Waterman. She had been employed at the Lafayette Hotel for over 38 years as a cook, before retiring from The Glenwood Community.

    Donald Eugene Maxon, Sr., 75, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital Southeast, in Newark, OH. He was born on September 3, 1950, in Marietta, OH to Ruth (Smith) and Thomas Maxon.
    After graduating from Marietta High School in 1968, Don attended Hobart Welding School in Troy, OH. In May of 1970, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Davisville, Rhode Island. He was an electrician with the Mobile Construction Battalion (Seabees), serving tours in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Diego Garcia, and Antarctica.

    Diane was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1962 and had been employed by Dye & Dye PA, Robinson, Caltrider and Tenney, Big Bear, Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Bob Bingler Ford and retired from Haessly Hardwood Lumber Co.
