    Terrie Jean “TJ” Lincoln, 46, of Marietta passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 31, 1977, in Marietta a daughter of Sherry Lincoln Sturm and the late John Sturm.
    She was a graduate of Marietta High School Class of 1996, graduate of Washington State College of Ohio, a 2007 graduate of Rio Grande College with a Bachelor’s Degree, and a Masters Degree from the University of Phoenix. TJ was heavily involved in the community and school activities.

  • Mary Kathryn “Kate” Satterfield

    Mary Kathryn “Kate” Satterfield, 91, of Marietta passed away at 9:35 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Harmar Place.
    She was born June 22, 1933 in Racine, OH, a daughter of Albert J. Faircloth and Helen Profitt Faircloth. Kate had been employed by Winans Services where she worked 40 years without a sick day. She was a member of Marietta First Church of the Nazarene.
     
    In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory will be appreciated to First Church of the Nazarene or the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.

    Vicki K. Armistead, 66, of Marietta passed away at 4:04 am, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at her home.
    She was born November 7, 1957, in Marietta a daughter of Paul Brown of Waterford and Shelvie Bess Brown of Marietta. Vicki had been employed by Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin County Sheriff ‘s Department and the Bureau of Public Debt. She attended the First Baptist Church in Williamstown. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

    Jean Darlene Kennedy, 81, of Williamstown passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 12:43 pm at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    She was born on November 14, 1942, in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of Guy Page, Jr. and Tressie Singleton Page. Jean was a homemaker who loved to babysit, do puzzles, sing, and spend time with her grandchildren and her Church family and enjoy picnics. She attended any church function she could.

    Jean Michelle Perez, 77, of Marietta passed away October 20, 2024 at the Washington County Home.
    Michelle was born January 2, 1947 to Fred W. and Jean (Powell) Corkran in Marietta, Ohio.
    She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Scott) Rose and a son, Stephen Perez. Also surviving are her grandchildren Moriah Wells, Dewey Rose, Austin Rose, and Alyssa Rose and Dorran Perez, along with great grandchildren, Antonyo Perez and Castiel Wells and sisters Rebecca Fedak and Claudia Saling

  • Mary H. Kitts

    Mary H. Kitts, of Barlow, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the age of 95, surrounded by her loving children. Born on August 2, 1929, in Marietta, she was the daughter of Pearly Leroy Brown, Sr. and Nora Ethel Schafer Brown.
    In her youth, Mary worked as an usher at local movie theaters and as a telephone operator. Later, she served as a bus driver for Ewing School in Marietta, dedicating herself to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. She was also a long-time member of the Ohio Child Conservation League. Mary took great pride in her roots in Marietta, especially in her family’s beloved bakery, Brownies Donut and Pastry Shop.
    Known for her keen sense of humor, Mary had a gift for teasing those closest to her—a trait that lives on in her sons. Even in her final year, amidst the sorrow of losing her beloved husband, she continued to share her playful spirit with the aides, nurses, and residents at Lindley Inn.

    Robert “Scott” Baker, 57, of Marietta passed away at 5:20 am, Sunday, October 13, 2024 at his home.
    He was born August 28, 1967 at Newport News, VA, a son of William Baker and Roberta Davis Baker. Scott was a construction worker.
    On September 13, 2005, he married Tammy Monway Baker who survives with 2 sons, Austin Baker and Bryce Baker both of Marietta and his brother Steve (Pam) Baker of Marietta. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Garry Baker.
    At his request, he will be cremated and there will be no services at this time. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
