    Karen Minta Smitley West of Marietta went to be with the Lord on Oct. 25, 2025 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing in Beverly, Ohio, surrounded by family.
    She was born Jan. 28, 1949, in Austin, TX, to Ivan, Sr. and Gloria Smitley. She was a graduate of Newport High School. Karen was a caregiver for several years before becoming a Domestic Violence Victims Advocate for Eve, Inc.

    Warren retired from Airolite. He like woodworking and love to build and tinker with things and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his wife loved to go to the mountains in the fall.

Gage was a Senior at Washington County Career Center in the Auto Collision and Refinishing Program and Frontier High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, 4 wheeling and trail riding, and Ohio Means Jobs CCMEP. He attended Muskingum Valley Baptist Church.
