Paul “Pete” Hoffman, Jr. died October 20, 2026. He was born in a farm house in Richwood, Ohio on January 7, 1941, in the same room where his father was born. After high school, he went on to OSU, earning a BS in civil engineering and eventually an MBA from Ohio University. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970. After meeting Sherrie on her first day at OSU, they were married in 1966 and spent the next 60 years together.

Kathleen Sue Schneider, 66, of Marietta passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 16, 1960 in Marietta, a daughter of Bill VanWey and Diane Britton VanWey.
Lorraine Hundley, 97 of Marietta passed away Thursday Oct. 15, 2026. She was born March 24, 1929 in War, WV to Arnold and Kathleen Martin.
She began her career as a teacher in West Virginia and continued for many years in Marietta City Schools. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Marietta. She enjoyed reading, quilting, travel and feeding the birds.
Linda Sue Perine, 78, of Marietta passed away at 2:13pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2026. She was born in Wood County, WV, a daughter of William Dewie Perine and Justine Marie Carson Perine.
Linda is survived by brothers and sisters: Martha Mowery, Patricia Huffman, George Perine, Theodore Perine, Walter Perine and several nieces and nephews.
Michelle Patrice Dick, 65, of Williamstown, WV passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2026.
Born May 23, 1961, she was the daughter of Gary Bills and Carolyn Bills of St. Mary’s, WV.
She was a 1979 graduate of St. Mary’s High School and a longtime employee of the former Fenton Art Glass Company.
