Sherrie Parsons, 78, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 7, 2026.
Sherrie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker who devoted her life to her family. She was married to the love of her life, John C. Parsons, for 60 years. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and countless cherished memories.
Richard LeRoy West, 83, of Marietta died Monday September 7, 2026 at Elison Assisted Living.
He was born July 25, 1943 in Marietta, Ohio to LeRoy and Josephine (Dunham) West. He was a graduate
of Marietta High School with the class of 1962 and served in the US Army 1966-1968.
Merle W. Hall, 80, of Marietta passed away at 9:30pm, Friday, September 4, 2026 at his home.
Merle was born November 29, 1945 in Marietta a son of Alonzo T. Hall and Lucille Miller Hall. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a sales representative for Bonhams, and Kremers, and later for Danka Office Equipment. He was a graduate from Marietta Highs School.
Hallie Anne Smith was born sleeping into this world on Thursday August 27th, 2026.
She was loved by her parents, John and Lindsey Smith of Vincent, Ohio, adored by her siblings: Jonah, Jolie and Myles Smith and cherished by her Grandparents: Jeff and Jodie James of Vincent, Oh. Melissa Wingate of Statesville, NC and Jeff Smith of Coolville every second of her life.
Until she can be held in their arms again, she will be carried in their hearts forever.
Diana L. Mugrage, 66, of Lowell passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Diana was born on August 8, 1960 in Marietta, a daughter of Delmar Thomas and Phyllis Hayes Thomas. She had been employed at both Big Bear and Food For Less.
Earl L. “Butch” McIntyre, Jr. 84, of Lowell, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. He was born on January 11, 1942, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Earl L. McIntyre, Sr. and Eudora Lent McIntyre.
Earl worked as an electrician for O Ames for 28 ½ years. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of West Virginia AF&AM and Williamstown Lodge #129.
Mary Arlene Miller, 83, of Marietta passed away at 6:53 pm on Tuesday August 18, 2026.
She was born February 8, 1943 at Marietta to Raymond Chester Goodwin and Rowena Effie Grace Johnson Goodwin. She was a homemaker. Mary was married to Victor Ward, Sr. who survives and later she married Lloyd Miller who preceded her in death.
