Alan Warren Thomas
Alan Warren Thomas, 57, of Baltic, Ohio, passed away at 4:30pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in Canton after a lengthy illness. He was born On May 11, 1956, in Marietta, a son of Brady W. and Joann Williams Thomas.
Alan was a Senior Field Technician for J. W. Power and was a member of the Church of Christ.
On December 23, 1978, he married Kristen Coombs Thomas who survives with 2 sons and 1 daughter: Steven W. Thomas of Ft Bliss, TX, Staci Thomas of Ashville, NC, Shane Thomas of Baltic; 3 grandchildren: Matthew, Brandon and Alexis; 3 sisters and 1 brother: Ann (Greg) Butts of Asheville, NC, Anita (Kevin) Offenberger of Marietta, Susan (Mike) Kracht of Centralia, IL and Aaron Thomas of Marceline, MO and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Nov. 16) at 3:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
