Nancy Alice Stevens

Nancy Alice Stevens, 61, of Marietta went to be with the Lord at 4:35am on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at her home with her family at her side. She was born on May 17, 1952, in Wood County, WV, a daughter of Ira Parsons, Jr. and Eva Marie Sayres Parsons. She was a homemaker.

On February 24, 1973, she married Gary R. Stevens and they celebrated their 41st anniversary this year. Gary survives with the love of her life, son Michael L. (Kerri) Stevens and the second love of her life, grandson Maverick L. Stevens. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Linda (Bill) Kinney and Patty (Dave) Keener.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sharon Duff.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 18) at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 2:00pm with family present from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
