Raymond “Pat” Farley

Raymond “Pat” Farley, 89, of Marietta passed away at 7:15 am on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 11, 1924, in Marietta a son of Lawne Farley and Ole Hendricks Farley. Pat had been employed for the City of Marietta and later at Ridgewood Court. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during WWII and was a life member of VFW Post 5108. He enjoyed playing his steel guitar.

On August 24, 1961, he married Maxine Becker who survives with 3 stepsons and 1 stepdaughter, 2 sons and 3 daughters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Dec. 28) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Jerry Kuhn officiating. Entombment will be in East Lawn Memorial Park will full military rites. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
