Kathy Morris
Kathy Morris, 57, of Marietta passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013, at the Arbors of Marietta.
She was born on Sept. 5, 1956, in Marietta to Kenneth Allen and Mary Jane (Joy) Ward.
She was a graduate of Frontier High School class of 1974. Kathy was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She worked at Marietta Automotive Warehouse for many years. Kathy enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting, spoiling her grandchildren, and had a passion for collecting and watching movies.
She is survived by her three children, Michael Dean Morris, Mary Ann Bee (Todd) and David Anthony Morris; three grandchildren, Brandon, Caitlyn and Ethan Bee; her father Kenneth Ward; six siblings, Janet Ford, Steve Ward (Phyllis), Marilyn Gorrell (Denver), Joan Plessinger, David Ward (Louise) and Sherry Waterman; and several cherished in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Edward Morris, mother Mary Jane Ward, and brother Barry Bee Ward.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Dec. 27) at 11:00am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
