Audrey Leah Science

Audrey Leah Campbell Science, 76, of Marietta, passed away at 7:30 am on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at her home.

She was born at Willow Island, WV, on July 14, 1935, a daughter of Robert Herman and Anna Wherry Campbell.  Audrey had attended St. Marys High School.  She was a homemaker, a member of the Salvation Army, and VFW Post 5108 Woman’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter:  Keith (Twyla) Science, Edgar Science and Denna Arnold all of Marietta; grandchildren:  Tiffany, Brian, Angie, Heather, Anthony, Misty, Kaylea, Ethan, Brice, Kristy, Stephanie, Amanda, Adam (Jenny) and Jessica; 21 great grandchildren, brother Herman “Pete” Campbell of Parkersburg; 3 sisters:  Dolly Higgens of Willow Island, Louella Hughes of Winter Haven, FL, Marie Adams of Lorraine, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Melanie Science and 2 sisters, Lucille Sparks and Edna Cornell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Feb. 17) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Captain Brown of the Salvation Army officiating.  Burial will follow at Willow Island Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 4:00 until the hour of the service.
