Christina O. Hill Carpenter
Christina O. (Hill) Carpenter, 73, of Lowell passed away at 11:25 pm, Friday, June 16, 2017, at her home. She was born on September 21, 1943, in Marietta to Jesse and Bertha Nesselroad Hill.
Chris graduated from Lower Salem High School in 1961 and was retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of Marietta Bible Center.
On January 12, 1974, she married Charles L. Carpenter and they were married for 34 years until Charlie passed away in 2007. She is survived by children: Joseph (Missy) Carpenter of Whipple, Dawn Mason of Stockport and Jerry (Holly) Carpenter of Lancaster. She is also survived by grandchildren, Mitchell and Nathan and brothers: James Hill, Samuel (Diane) Hill and Ed (Margaret) Hill and sister Myra (Harold) Stewart.
In addition to her parents and husband, Chris was preceded in death by brothers Robert and Dan Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (June 21) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Myron Guiler officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Township Cemetery.
