Helen L. Huff

Helen Lorania Huff, 90, of Marietta passed away June 18, 2017, at her home.  She was born in Williamstown, WV, to Edwin and Eva Spence on October 17, 1927.

She met her long life partner, James Huff, when she was 19 years old and they started their life after getting married on January 29, 1946, and had three wonderful boys.  She loved listening to her radio and talk to people about her kids and old times.

She is survived by son Philip “Phil” (Cheryl) Huff of Marietta, daughter-in-law Donita Huff of Fultonham, OH and grandchildren Keith (Valerie) Huff, Brooke Stevens, Beverly  (Bobby) Gilman of Marietta, Chad (Kelly) Huff of Parkersburg, Craig (Amanda) Huff of Florida, Susan Huff of Fultonham, OH; several great grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Frank and Jean, both of Arkansas.

In addition to her parents and brother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Huff, sons Carl and James Huff, grandsons Rickie Huff and Tyler Domino.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (June 22) at 10:30am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Burnt Hill Cemetery.  Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
