Michael James Paul Ward, 66, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away at his home on May 12, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife and children.
Born on April 9, 1959, in Marietta, to Anna Marie and William Ward. A lifelong resident of Marietta, he was a man of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Michael was a machinist by trade and spent over 30 years at Skuttle Manufacturing where he served as Plant Manager. He later continued his career as Director of Maintenance at Glenwood Retirement Home.
Linda Kay Treadway Forsyth, 81, of Marietta, Ohio, woke up in the arms of Jesus on May 5, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born June 29, 1943, in Marietta, Ohio, to the late Dayton and Orpha Treadway.
Linda was known as a sweet Christian woman of unwavering faith, whose life was a beautiful reflection of grace, kindness, and love. Her walk with Christ was the cornerstone of her days-faithfully attending and serving in her church community, lifting others with prayer and encouragement. She also found delight in simple pleasures: a game of Skip-Bo with dear friends, conversations with neighbors and spoiling their pets with treats.
Family was Linda’s greatest treasure. She poured her heart into nurturing, supporting, and loving her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Lawrence E. McClure, Jr., 86, of Waverly, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Belmont Health Center.

Willow Renee Deeter was born April 28, 2025 at 2:26 am. She was a vibrant, active and beautiful bundle of joy, taken from us to soon.
She knew nothing but love, laughter, and good music. Willow would dance to music while in her mother’s belly and already acted like daddy’s girl. Her mommy and daddy will miss her so much along with a multiple family members and we always remember she had her mommy’s nose and her daddy’s toes.
Billie Dawn Sims, 81 of Marietta Ohio passed away at 1:11am on April 27, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 14, 1943 in Watertown, Ohio to the late William and Virginia Farley
She attended the Salvation Army and worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
She will be dearly missed by her family
Billie didn’t know a stranger; she loved going to the Goodwill and to yard sales and shopping with her family she also loved sewing. She loved taking care of dogs and cats. She loved going to NASCAR races with her husband and family.
Darlene V. Coe, 86, of Vincent, Ohio, passed way at 8:26 am, Thursday, April 24, 2025. She was born in Marietta on December 13, 1938, a daughter of M. Laura Gene Wentz and F. Raymond J. Wynn. Darlene was a homemaker.
Neil Hendrickson, 67, of Stewart, Ohio passed away at 12:00pm, Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
He was born on July 10, 1957, in Marietta son of Thomas Albert and Laurena Carver Hendrickson. Neil retired from Mayle & son Construction. His hobbies included hunting, gardening and spending time with his beloved dogs, Paco and PJ, and racing RC cars with Kamryn.
