  • Delbert Raymond Westbrook

Born on January 8, 1928, in the beautiful Appalachian hills of Archers Fork, Delbert Raymond Westbrook (97) made his peaceful transition in Marietta, Ohio on September 24, 2025, with family by his side. Few people are fortunate to live the long, healthy life that he did and even fewer live as independently as he did. His family is grateful for that.
He was a graduate of Lawrence High School and spent over 20 years working for Broughton’s Dairy before finding his true calling and passion which was to preach the Lord’s word. His faith, wife and family were his top priority. When he wasn’t preparing sermons, conducting marriage ceremonies, and presiding over funerals, he frequently visited those in the hospital and nursing homes. He lived what he preached, and he was always doing God’s work.
