Alta F. Mullen

Alta F. Mullen, 102, of Marietta, passed away at 12:45 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Heartland of Marietta.  She formerly resided at The Inn and on Kingman Road.

She was born on February 11, 1909 Mrs. Mullen was a past charter member of Marietta Woman’s Club, DA Council 282 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 64.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bryson on November 30, 1981, and son Harold on March 9, 2010, her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers also preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughter, Donna (Bob) Moseley and son Gene (Ann) Mullen both of Marietta; grandchildren: Mayor Michael (Claire), Jim (Linda), Barry (Cathy), Pat (Carol), Tim (Laurie) Robert (Christy) Mullen, Martha (Mick) Davis, Karen (Randy) White and Kate (Dan) Martin, together with great grandchildren, Will, Zachary, Lindsay, Lexie, Payton, James, Alexis Mullen, Leah Martin, Samatha and Erik White, Ali and Cole Davis, Jessica Anderson, Matt, Marc (Katie), Mike (Mandy) Warden; great great grandchildren:  Drew and Owen Warden.  Mrs. Mullen is also survived by sister-in-law, Mary Lorenzo and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday (March 19) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Randy Baker officiating.  Interment will follow at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell.  Family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 8.
