Golden O. “Jack” Plumley

Golden O. “Jack” Plumley, 79, of Racine, WV, formally of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at Charleston Medical Center. 

He was born on June 15, 1930, in Walton, WV.  Jack had served in the U. S. Army in Germany and had worked for Union Carbide.

On December 24, 1952, he married Ursula Schultz who preceded him in death on June 5, 1998.  He married Ada Shamblin on July 21, 1999, and she survives with 4 step children, 7 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.  He is also survived by a sister, Jerry, in California, an aunt Tressie McIntire and special friend Regina in Germany.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Zaucha.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (August 7) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Damron Bradshaw officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm.  On line condolences may be shared with the family at:  www.mslfuneralhome.com.
